EOSi’s Virtual Nitrack® technology awarded as Discover Gallery finalist at Inductive Automation’s 2024 Ignition Community Conference

EOSi announces that EOSi’s Virtual Nitrack technology has been selected as a Discover Gallery finalist at Inductive Automation’s 2024 Ignition Community Conference.

Pocasset, MA, September 18, 2024 — Environmental Operating Solutions, Inc. (EOSi), industry leader providing MicroC® Premium Carbon Sources and Nitrack® process automation system for biological nutrient removal applications in wastewater treatment systems, announced today that EOSi’s Virtual Nitrack technology has been selected as a Discover Gallery finalist at Inductive Automation’s 2024 Ignition Community Conference.

An industry award honoring system integrators and industrial organizations leveraging Inductive Automation’s Ignition software platform to create exceptionally innovative and successful projects, EOSi’s cloud-based and virtualized version of EOSi’s hardware-based Nitrack process automation system was among projects selected, with finalist winners awarded September 17th 2024 at the Ignition Community Conference (ICC) held annually in Folsom, California.

“Being selected as a Discover Gallery finalist is a high honor for us, and a recognition of EOSi’s legacy of pioneering innovations and solutions empowering the wastewater treatment industry,” said Ryan Coleman, EOSi VP Engineering. “Considerable credit goes to Inductive Automation’s Ignition software platform that enabled EOSi’s engineering team to create this exceptionally capable, reliable, and secure system enabling plant operators to efficiently manage vital aspects of their wastewater treatment process, achieve nutrient performance goals, and maintain permit compliance.”

Replacing hardware-based onsite functionality of EOSi’s award-winning Nitrack process automation system with an innovative and secure cloud-based software controller, EOSi’s innovative Virtual Nitrack technology enables plant operators to remotely automate, monitor, and optimize dosing of EOSi’s non-hazardous MicroC supplemental carbon sources widely used by wastewater treatment plants for essential biological nutrient removal applications.

“Leveraging Inductive Automation’s Ignition software enabled us to revolutionize our Nitrack control system offering,” said Randall Pulsifer, EOSi Automation & Instrumentation Manager. “Eliminating on-site commissioning costs, dramatically reducing overall system cost, and enhancing the customer experience make it a game-changer for our wastewater treatment customers.”

“Ignition’s capabilities and functionality allowed EOSi to seamlessly integrate our cloud-based control system, easily access applications, precisely control processes, and quickly diagnose issues,” said David Fournier, EOSi Control & Instrumentation Engineer. “Leveraging Ignition, EOSi is expanding our solutions to include a cloud-based control pump skid capable of rapid deployment anywhere.”
